All About Us

James and I celebrated our 17th anniversary in May. <G>

We have four children, Jeremy 21, who goes to school in Michigan., Kristina 15, Justin 12 and Jessica, our angel that would have been 17 this next September 11.. She has been in heaven now for 5 yrs and it seems like it was just yesterday that she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. .
For the past 4 years now Kristina and Justin have been in public school. Before that I home schooled them for 8 years However,  due to the economy we decided that it was best for me to go back to work. I figured if I was going to go back to work I wanted to be a certified teacher. I substituted the first 2 yrs we were back from Greenville. This past year was my 2nd year teaching in the public school system. I was working for Charleston County School  District but due to some “problems” with my principal I no longer teach at that school or anywhere else. As James said the other day, seems like I am on permanent vacation. I certainly did not plan it. This should be my third year in the PACE program (alternative certification program) but because of not securing another teaching position for this year I am forced out of the program. At this time I am just trying to find any job that would help with the bills. James has been working for The College of Charleston for the past year.
If you would like to know more of what has been happening with our family just read James' blogger and it will tell you the current happenings..

My favorite hobbies are surfing' the web for new and different links,   learning about web page design, and genealogy. My newest hobby that is quite addicting is crocheting. I have not been scrapbooking this past year but hope to get back to it this next year.  I also like going bowling and going to movies with James.
