Katy and I are looking forward to taking our first cruise. We bought it back in February after we received a marketing call from one of the cruise lines. Apparently they were trying to fill up empty cabins so we got the cruise for a song and a dance. We have 18 months to take the cruise and I have to fork over some cash to get my passport which has held things up a bit.
I honestly take one day at a time.
I turn 52 this year so I suppose more than half of my life is over. Maybe I am looking forward to finally getting to do some of the things on my bucket list. I would like to see my adult children become self sustaining and do better in life than I have. Maybe it would be cool to be a grand parent at some point. It could be fun to spoil them rotten and at the end of the day give them back to mom and dad. It would be nice to be able to afford an acre or two out in the country with a small house and a white picket fence. I was raised in the country and I love how peaceful and quiet it is.
