Life is full of change

Yes, you read that correctly. We moved last week. The condo we were living in is being sold by the owner. We were given the first opportunity to buy but we are not in a place financially to do that. So, the search began for a new place to live. One thing we agreed on is that it needed to be a house with a porch and be a one story dwelling. We actually found something quickly that fell into our laps. It was more than we initially wanted to pay but it had everything we wanted. Fenced in yard, fireplace, porch, covered parking and storage space in the back yard. We have been here for one week and we love it. We are still unpacking boxes but that will take some time. Moving is expensive and laborious at best.

Today, Katy and I celebrate 30 years of marriage. It seems like yesterday when we said our vows in Houston Texas. We defied all odds and predictions from some of our closest friends wo said this would never work. When God is for you who can be against you? Despite the trials and whatever life has thrown at us we have managed to keep our marriage alive and strong. We never lost our faith in Christ and who he is in our marriage. The more you live for Christ the more our enemy comes against us. Being a Christ follower does not mean that there wont be any trials or tribulations. It means that God in you will give you the strength you need to be an overcomer.

I am so blessed to be married to a virtuous woman who loves God with all of her heart. It is by the grace of God that I have such a wonderful partner to share life with. I have no idea how much time we have left but I am looking forward to many more years of love and experiencing life together.
